Kokoro (2025)

Description:

Inspired by Natsume Soseki's classic novel Kokoro, this poignant Japanese drama follows a fledgling novelist reflecting on a life-defining summer. Ten years ago, during his final year of university, he met the woman who would become his wife. Eager to share his happiness, he introduced her to his one and only best friend, and the three quickly formed an inseparable bond. However, when financial necessity forced the novelist and his best friend to share a home, the dynamic began to shift. Living under one roof exposed the hidden truths buried deep within his friend's heart. As unspoken feelings and secrets slowly surfaced, the relationships among the three changed forever. This emotional film explores the complex depths of the human heart, love, and friendship. What has become of them now that the truth has been revealed?
