Death’s Game (2023)

Description:

Death's Game plunges into the bleak existence of Yijae Choi, a man whose life has reached its nadir. Faced with chronic unemployment, the departure of his ex-girlfriend, and the crushing blow of losing all his savings to a bitcoin scam, Yijae buckles under immense societal pressures and chooses to end his life. However, his disrespectful attitude towards dying enrages Death herself. As a harsh consequence, Death forces him into a cruel game. Yijae must repeatedly confront death by inhabiting 13 different lives, each teetering on the brink of their own demise. The only way out? If he can successfully prevent the imminent death of any given life, he earns the chance to live out that person's remaining time. This gripping drama explores the profound question: can Yijae, having failed spectacularly at his own life, find a reason to survive and thrive within the lives of others? Rated 18+ for restricted violence and profanity.
