"Mr. Queen" plunges viewers into a fascinating historical drama where Jang Bong Hwan, a free-spirited chef from the modern Blue House, experiences an unbelievable twist of fate. His spirit is suddenly transported to the Joseon period, where it inhabits the body of Queen Kim So Yong. Trapped in a woman's body and a bygone era, the chef must navigate the complex and dangerous world of palace life. King Cheol Jong, the reigning monarch, initially seems like a gentle and easygoing figurehead, yet he conceals profound secrets and an underlying strength. Adding to the intrigue, Queen Sunwon, the late King Sunjo's wife, is the true power behind the throne, effectively sidelining King Cheol Jong. Her extremely ambitious younger brother further destabilizes the political landscape.
